Good morning; on the Beacon today, on Aug. 17, Shay and Melissa Evanoff opened The Bookshelf on the corner of Main and First streets, in the old home of Books West in Kalispell. Reed Platke and Kiley McConnell are leading the Whitefish golf team. Local filmmaker Andrew Wiest's, “The Wylds,” was recently picked up for distribution by Word Entertainment, a division of media giant Warner Bros., and will be released in the Flathead on DVD Aug. 31.
